Student Research Groups in the Institute of Technical Sciences

Ad Quadratum Student Research Group was founded on 6th Feb. 2009. Its aim is to broaden students’ knowledge useful in the profession of an architect, organization of scientific meetings and organization of conferences.

Modulor Student Research Group came into being on 10th Oct. 2011 as an initiative of the students who resolved to enhance the development of their vocational talents. Its main aim is to broaden the students’ scientific interests, develop their artistic abilities through the organization of drawing and plastic arts workshops and open air photo sessions, as well as representation of the College  in Poland and abroad and further development of the skills and abilities required in the profession of an architect.

OBIEKTYWnie Student Research Group came into being in 2009. Its aim is popularization and propagation of photography as an artistic discipline. It is assumed that all the students should master the art of photography and use it as an everyday tool. For the students of architecture, urban planning, environmental engineering photography is a subject of study in class. Among the aims of the Group has been to make students constantly mindful and attentive to their surroundings.

In May 2015 TENSOR Student Research Group came into being at the Institute of Technical Sciences of the PPWSZ in Nowy Targ. It was created by students who wanted to  broaden their knowledge and interests in environmental engineering and engineering geology. The Group organizes and participates in seminars, workshops and conferences as well as cyclical meetings concerning the problems of environmental engineering and individual research and scientific work.
